Where to purchase Wine between the Airport and the Port.

Flying in same day. Is there a Duty free shop with wine at the airport or anywhere between there and ship. Or is best option just to purchase at a local store.

Best to purchase from duty free at departure Airport.  

Bajan local shops will legally charge tax plus VAT @ 17.5%.  

Failing that, board the ship, drop off hand luggage, walk to Port Duty Free carrying one’s ship keycard to show on any purchases.

Thank You. How were the Prices? Do not like to pay VAT unless we have to.Then again Duty Free at airport could be same price even without paying VAT.

Not knowing one’s wine tastes and acceptable price point, suggest one does a dummy order.  Browse the online store, placing selections into basket, then checking out, but stop prior to pay.

 

The final basket will show tax paid and VAT due, one can then successfully price compare.
