Purchasing cruise cash and cruise cash bar

Both cruise cash and cruise cash bar have a limit of 500 bucks. Does that mean one could purchase up to $500 on each (totalling $1,000) or the total combined for both cannot exceed the $500 max?

You can purchase $500 of each type of cruise cash (CC, CC Bar, CC Photo) for each cabin.

A much better proposition is the 10 percent off gift cards from AARP or Allstate rewards. You can do any amount and it is refundable if you don't use it all plus 10 percent off does add up. Just add them at a sail and sign kiosk and you are good to go.

Just take regular old cash with you.  No point in turning real money into non-refundable company credits that have various restriction.
