Northbound or Southbound?

First time cruise & first Alaska trip.  We’re planning on booking a 7 night NCL cruise, late May either from Vancouver to Seward on the Jewel or Seward to Vancouver on the Spirit. The itineraries are slightly different but both go past Hubbard glacier.

just looking for advice on which would be the better.

My wife and I are doing the Jewel Northbound from Vancouver to Seward.  We chose this cruise because it visits both Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier.

We just booked that same one too. But also playing into our decision was getting to Vancouver might be easier than Seward to start the cruise (less connections, potential issues).

We are on the June 12th-19th  on the Norwegian Jewel.  We are staying at the Pan Pacific the night before bording.  They are a little more expensive than other hotels but they are right at the cruise port.

Me too. Done. Seattle round trip twice but haven’t made into Glacier National Park.  Going North May 29
