Akaroa excursion from Littleton, March, 2023

This is 8 hour but I understand that this harbor is worth seeing. Includes 2 hour nature cruise and lunc(.

Akaroa is beautiful, worth going to IMHO and the drive over there is very scenic. Does the tour include the Giant's House?

Akaroa has the best fish and chips. We found a little shop around the back and had  a magnificent lunch. I also went to this beautiful little shop called Fire and Ice, and bought an aromatherapy necklace. It was a lovely place to visit.

It will be interesting to see which cafes / restaurants survive now the majority of the cruise ships will dock in Lyttelton instead. It's still a popular NZ holiday town though, and an easy day trip from Christchurch for the locals.

I wonder if some of the smaller ships will continue to visit Akaroa. It is such a beautiful location.
