Are there desk-top computers that Carnival has for use for cruiser?

Yes.

Not on the newest ships. Celebration f.i. doesn't have an internet spot with PCs. If you need to have flight boarding passes etc printed, you need to send an email to Guest Services and they will print out for you.

The computers in the internet cafe of ships so equipped can only be used to access the internet, there is no ability to launch other programs on them like Word etc. And of course you can only access the internet if you've purchased an internet plan.
