Best beach and how to get there with toddler

Looking for a nice beach with amenities easily accessible with toddler. Is this possible. I read a few years back that there was sewage problem near the beach in town? That would be the easiest, but don't want to chance that. Traveling via car is tough with/without a car seat. Pinel Island looks like it might be nice, just not sure the best way to get there. TYIA

The sewage (effluent) problem will never disappear.

I would recommend Divi Little Bay Beach Resort.  Pretty close to pier.  Taxi $6 per person I think.   Not sure about car seat issue.  Good restrooms and eating options.  Water usually very calm.

We like the beaches on the French side.  Grand Case beaches are clean and the water is calm.  Rainbow Beach club is nice to reserve chairs for the day and have lunch.  Very safe for a toddler.
