MrsWaldo Posted February 20 #2327 Share Posted February 20 But the kiwis and victorians will call it a cray love the way language evolves and is local For wines Adelaide Hills beats Barossa hands down. Then you have Mclaren Vale and Clare Barossa does old wines well. The rest have some spectacular new world options One of my favourites is Shaw and Smith. If given the chance to taste a Tassie Tolpuddle while there jump at it

lincslady Posted February 21 #2335 Share Posted February 21 A trip on almost any of the ferries from Circular Quay would be nice, and fairly cheap, and hopefully not too hot, with the chance to look at all the scenery in and around the harbour. And not much walking if you are docked at the Quay.

We'll see how this plays out! 😁

That's not to say of course that it will happen again this year. Edited February 21 by turtlemichael

lincslady Posted February 21 #2339 Share Posted February 21 If it is an easy shuttle to the ferries, then a boat to Manly and fish and chips and a bottle of chardonnay in a shady spot can't be beaten. A nice unsophisticated change from ship menus. 2

Rare mysty Posted February 21 Author #2343 Share Posted February 21 On a curious note....folks may remember that I requested a special dinner featuring crayfish. Response was that the Chef did not have access to crayfish. This morning I was reviewing the dinner menu for the Restaurant tonight. Guess what! Crayfish is an appetizer tonight. After almost 3 days at sea, where did the crayfish get delivered? Air drop? 😅 2
