DoorCounty Posted January 2, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2023 I was reading the Roll Call for Zaandam & someone was told by a HAL rep, those bookings don’t count. Only count if booked onboard! This is news to me. I’m hoping the HAL rep has it wrong. Not a fan of ship excursions but if we have to wait til on board, most excursions are going to be sold out. Spa price is less when purchased online. Curious minds want to know.
CruiserBruce Posted January 2, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Yes. Spending on those items before boarding count towards Mariner points.
DoorCounty Posted January 2, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Thanks for the correct info. I thought the HAL rep was confused.
ToBe Posted January 2, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2023 This is true. I am not sure if my math is correct but it seems as if we also got some HIA credit too. Internet is cheaper purchased on line.

The Social and Surf plans are both lower price than the Premium purchased in advance.

We had a broken furnace, and I needed to download information from our neighbors and sign the permission slip to repair the furnace. We got around the problem but the delay meant that we came home to 10 degrees and a very cold home. The furnace was repaired the next day. BRRRRRRRR!
