Rare Shiba_Lover Posted January 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2023 Hi all - we arrive back at the Miami port and I've checked the port guides. There are 7 ships doing turn arounds that same day. Would there be any potential taxi issues? Our flight is not until 1:45 and we dock at 7. Looks like there all of the ships dock at either 7 or 8AM. I am thinking we should be fine given our flight time, and this many ships at once may be common for Miami, so I guess the taxis know to all queue up. Any thoughts? JohninDC Posted January 3, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2023 Sleep in, enjoy one last breakfast in the MDR and be among the last to leave the ship. Cabs will be available and UBER or Lyft are always an option.
Flymia Posted January 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) No problem. The Taxi drivers know and so do rideshare. There are tons around to pick up rides. You will not have an issue catching a ride. I agree, take your time getting off the ship. Edited January 5, 2023 by Flymia
Capt_BJ Posted January 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Miami has had cruise ship congestion for a LONG time and as a big city a TON of taxi .... IOW no issues. Compare to Port Canaveral: this issue is new and the surrounding area is basically a small town ......
Rare Shiba_Lover Posted January 8, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted January 8, 2023 Thanks everyone - we should be fine! We'll just do the self-debarkation and take it easy.
