Questions for upcoming cruise.

Recommended Posts

It's been 8 years since my last cruise on Royal Caribbean and I'm not up to date with the current practices.  I'm Diamond on Carnival and Emerald on RCI..  I wear nice shorts to the dining room on Carnival except for formal night.  Are shorts allowed or frowned upon on RC?  On Carnival, I've brought up to 24 soft drinks on board and I see that RC only allows 12 per cabin.  Are they strict with only allowing 12?   I'm going on a 10 night cruise and 12 soft drinks won't be enough.  Thanks.

We just finished our first cruise in years with RC...there didn't seem to be any enforcement of a dress code...shorts, flip flops, tank tops, gym shorts, sweatpants.... everyone was seated no matter what the dress code stated for the night.
