CimW Posted January 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2023 One of us might not be able to cruise. Is is still better for the one to no show instead of cancelling them beforehand? Thanks!
Sunshine3601 Posted January 7, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Yes, in most cases a no show is better than revising and possibly getting a reprice.

Rare twangster Posted January 7, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2023 It depends on the scenario and the timing. In many cases after final payment due date there is no advantage to canceling one person on a booking but there are some cases where that is leaving money on the table. Homosassa Posted January 7, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2023 There are situations where the remaining passenger will not be able to cruise without the other passenger. You need to check the restrictions on the fare under which you are booked and not depend on blanket statements of forum posters.
emeraldcity Posted January 8, 2023 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2023 The best answer is "It depends". It doesn't hurt to call and have them check into possible change. My cruising partner had to bow out, so I called to see about changing to a solo booking. For the staggering fee of $4.10, I was moved to a balcony cabin with the larger balcony and now I get double points. Win-win.

One scenario I thought of is a minor not being able to sail without an adult. What's another scenario? Primary person on a casino offer / comped cruise?
