Did anyone else notice this? Or is it just my computer?

Did the threads get narrower? Does the screen seem smaller?

Or is it JUST ME?:eek: :confused:

The thread format is slightly narrower on my screen, as well.

I wonder if it temporary. Besides being more narrow, you can't

see all the threads....

Anyone else having this problem? It is like they shortened the

page:eek:

The new format which appeared earlier today seems to include lots of ads down the right margin. That's the cost of running the site I guess.

 

On the plus side, at least the pages seem to be loading.

ok that is it.....their are tons of ads on the right hand side.

That is about 2 full inches of page.

Yep, I guess that is the price of having a free site.

Lois, It is the same on my computer but whatever is installed on my computer takes out all the ads. I don't see any thing but white on the right side of the page. Glad to know it is not just my computer messing up. Pat

hdawson, sorry:eek: I came home from work and it was just looking

funky to me......figured this would be the best place to ask about

it.

Maybe Walt will see this...or Anne, or Laura and let us

know if this is the "new normal".

Didn't notice screen size but, I have not been able to pull up any thread or post under my name (jessemon) since the latest update they did weeks ago. Can't get them either under Quick Links. WEIRD. :mad:

Can't seem to get help from CC on this point !!!!!!:eek:

Just noticed...they have put ads at the side of the threads. Look to the right on the screen...they were not there yesterday.:eek:

The boards are still great and "They" need to make more money. Maybe if they do they can speed this system back up again. It just sucks every time "They" do something new it slows everything down or in some cases boggles things up...:mad:

Format has changed....and hope it changes back! I really prefer the wide screen version, easier to read. No ads on my screen.

 

My posts seem to be there, still....seems pretty od that some people are having troubles, others aren't. Hope it gets fixed sooner than later.

On every internet site I visited while on the Mexican Riviera, I had to use the scroll bar to read the whole screen. Now everything is visible at one glance.

 

I don't think it's tunnel vision..

I also noticed that there are now 20 posts per page instead of 25!!!!

Did you check the display options in your profile? You can have as few as 5 posts per page and as many as 40, which has been the case for as long as I can remember.

I haven't changed anything since I started posting here. Sounds like the board's got a friendly gremlin!

Lois ~ you're right...there have been some format changes.

 

Speed of the board today has been fine for me. It was slow last night but tonight's been fine.

Not for nothing but...my speed at the moment seems slower and from what I am seeing so far on this thread I am not the only one. It seems to be taking more time to load in the extra "ads" that were not in the right column before.

Hi Jeff (just up the road) ~ I honestly haven't had a speed problem tonight but I have already dropped Laura an email so she is aware that others have mentioned the boards being slow.
