the Grand bar  hallway looks the same  to me  😉

The Grand Bar is like an after thought stuck in the hallway. Not like the lounge on the R ships in the GDR.

And the freaking chairs are still so low that it’s like copping a squat.  You wouldn’t believe the complaints from many of the passengers who cannot stand up from those nasty chairs.

(Ducking while I say this) We like the Grand Bar, particularly when the string quartet is playing. (Yay! I just noticed the purple lamps are still there)

 

Note to self: do not wear any above the knee dresses to the GDR...ouch!

Agreed! We love listening to the string quartet before dinner there while having a drink. It is a lovely space.
