Kids Birthday during cruise

Hello, we have an upcoming cruise next week and we are getting some mixed information. Looking for real experience:

our daughter is 5 at the start of our cruise, so in adventure ocean she is the 3-5 group. But during the cruise she has a birthday. Will they let her join her sibling and friends in the 6-8 group from the start or will she have to wait for her birthday?

We often moved my younger son up to be with his brother when they were younger. We just had to sign a waiver. I also think it depends on how busy they think AO might be. It's worth just asking for her to be put in with the older kids when you first register. Good luck!

This will vary depending on which ship and how many kids use the AO. My understanding when we've asked about this was they would give it a try if possible and see how it goes.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Just ask during open house to have your child join their sibling. It’s really no big deal and it happens all the time.
