Rare Eli_6 Posted February 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2023 Just boarded the Breeze. Loving the new nonsmoking casino which is so much bigger and nicer than it was our last time on the Breeze a year ago. The on board maps also show a Thrill Theatre that my husband and I have yet to find. 5
mz-s Posted February 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2023 Wow and a bar there in the nonsmoking casino too. Nice!

grantbob Posted February 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2023 It's so much bigger because the Thrill Theater is gone. 😁
elvy Posted February 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2023 (Australian innocent here) I'm shocked a theatre was a smoking zone, although I'd heard casinos were. Great news!

Great news! The theater was not a smoking zone. The space the theater occupied, along with a conference room- both on deck four, were converted to a non-smoking casino/bar on the Breeze and Dream. There is still the original, much larger, smoking casino one deck up on deck five.
Rudyard Posted February 5, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2023 I was looking forward to trying the Thrill Theater my first time on Breeze after the restart but it was still closed due to covid protocols. It was still closed on our next cruise a few months later and we found out the new casino was going to be expanding into that area.

mz-s Posted February 6, 2023 #9 Share Posted February 6, 2023 As I understand it, the main casino still has smoking and nonsmoking sections as always. It's just that they've taken previously underutilized space and made it a fully nonsmoking casino, and gone the extra mile and outfitted it with a bar, cashier, etc. The Magic also has similar, I'm excited to try it out when I board Magic over Labor Day later on this year. staceyglow Posted February 6, 2023 #10 Share Posted February 6, 2023 If it were up to me, I would take it one step further and make the new casino the smoking one. I hate walking having to walk past/through the smoky casino on the promenade deck to get to everything else. The new casinos are a little more out of the way.

ultrafighter Posted February 6, 2023 #12 Share Posted February 6, 2023 I spent WAY more money and time in the casino annex on our last Breeze cruise because it was non-smoking. They knew how to hook me. 😆

Love the guy in the hat, it looks like he's wondering "where the heck is everyone?" in that series of shots lol.
PittsburghGirlee Posted February 6, 2023 #14 Share Posted February 6, 2023 Carnival is coming a long way trying to make everyone happy. As a smoker, I am pleased, just as I am quite sure those who are Non-Smokers are as well. Take the small wins and be happy with this movement :)!! Cruise on everyone!!

Now if they would just add craps to the new section! Edited February 6, 2023 by Caps_Shield
