Davidm199 Posted February 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2023 3 years ago we were on ncl dawn, and had a friend that was in a 2 room suite. They would meet in one of the lounges and then be escorted down the employee stairway and out of the ship before everyone else did. We did this a couple days so we could get to our excursion faster. Is this a thing on the epic? if so does anyone now were we meet? We have one non-ncl excursion that we would need to get off right away in the morning.
Rare GeezerCouple Posted February 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2023 At least in the past, this was a service provided by the Concierge for Haven and non-Haven suite passengers. And those who have NCL-sponsored excursions would also be helped to get to those on time. I'm not aware of any other "special" priority arrangements, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. complawyer Posted February 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2023 if you're in a haven or suite (although not club balcony suite), the concierge or the butler will escort you off the ship. depending on when you get back from the excursion, and the port departure time, your butler will be waiting at the bottom of the gangway, with a sign, and will also escort you back to a private elevator. sure it will p**s off others waiting in line to get back on the ship, but that's one of the goodies and perks that come with booking a suite. i cant guarantee this will be the case on all ncl ships, but it was on our last 2 sailings, the gem and just recently the jewel. by the way, our butler, theresa was theeee best

On the Epic, if you are in the Haven, you meet in the Haven Lounge. There are no suites on the Epic.

One of the perks of being in the Haven or a Suite. Go to the Haven lounge (depending on ship). One of the concierge's or butlers will take you down (and back up)
Twocoasts Posted February 15, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2023 If you purchase the Priority Boarding package, you get priority disembarkation at the ports, regardless of the type of cabin you are in.
complawyer Posted February 15, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2023 unless youre really picky about being 1st off in a port, imho the priority package isnt worth the price of admission
