Does any one know(give or take the odd nautical mile) where QM2 and Queen Victoria will pass each other off the coast of Australia?

Cunard will have this information.  Day, date, time etc..

I estimate QM2 and QV will meet off the coast of Queensland between the community of Ayton at the mouth of the Bloomfield River and Cape Tribulation.

Never mind! I completely missed that QV is headed to Cairns tomorrow morning (March 5). The two ships should pass each other while QV is docked in Cairns and QM2 is continuing on to Airlie Beach.

I’m not sure I would trust Cunard on anything to do with geography. I have known them mix up the two Cartagenas.

Here is QM2 passing QV at Cairns as seen on CruiseMapper at 3:00pm March 5th local time. They were about 11 NM apart at this point.

Thankyou so much “Bluemarble” just having breakfast in the UK and of course I always check on where the Queens are , and read through Cruise Critic every

morning.I did ring Cunard and got a mmmm.I would like to think they sounded their ships horn to celebrate.
