Cash Tipping

On our upcoming cruise, we have purchased the Cheeers package, which per my understanding already has tips included.  On top of the included tips, we would like to give the server a cash tip.  Will the employee still accept the cash tip?

I don't think you'll find many who will decline a cash tip, certainly nobody on a ship

Cash tips are welcomed gladly!  When I don't have cash with me, I'll write in a tip on receipt.

The included CHEERS tip is below what the 18% tip on individual drink purchase is so the crew will be happy

According to Cruise Critic legend, extra tips will result in the bartender dropping everything to get to you first and then they will empty the liquor bottle into your drink 😉 .

Cash is king and if the bar is crowded and you're holding up a dollar bill, you'll be seen a lot faster.

 

I also tip out my cabin steward a twenty up front and let him know my needs

I've done it both ways and haven't noticed any change in the service. What does affect our service is how we treat the waitstaff/bartenders as fellow human beings and engage them as such.
