The Wonder 4 slots do well...they had a couple on Odyssey, but I never saw anyone hit.  Another game I like to play is Gryphon...they had one on the ship but once again...it too was ice cold. I even got the bonus (something rare for this particular ITG game) and it paid me like 20 bucks...so disappointing. On my way back to the ship in Curacao I stopped into the Renaissance Hotel Casino...they had a game called Frogged Up...it was a lot of fun...my first spin I won a hundo so...I guess that made it more fun lol.

I don't believe it was the luck of the person when I watched people drop close to 10 grand over the 8 nights and nothing....not 1 handy pay. Very different payout than what you see on land based casinos like Hard Rock in comparison. Normal land based casinos usually have something like a 92% return....Odyssey casino seems  more like a 25% return....if that.

No more Odyssey for us or that class of ship, says my husband.     My husband pointed out that the solarium should be renamed the "saunatarian", as we found the air in there so thick that it stifled our ability to actually breathe.

The nice thing about Royal is that there are so many different classes of ship that most people can find a class they enjoy.

One other item of note...we all know the cheese plate is gone from the classic menu but they took it a step further on this ship...the cheddar cheese is now a soft processed cheese similar to the old Kraft orange slices that do not melt in a fire. So be alert if you are getting orange cheese on a sandwich or some slices in the buffet...it may not be what you expect. 

 

Kraft Velveeta cheese orange slices were created by the same person who brought us Twinkies.

 

Both are impervious to almost all chemical reactions.

 

Great shelf life for Doomsday preppers! No refrigeration required until it is opened. 😁

 

I enjoyed the cheese plates. It is hard to argue against this being a downgrade situation. 😢
