Table for 10 for dinner on the Vista

We are traveling with 4 other couples (thereby 10 people in total) and wanted to know if the main dining room as well as the speciality restaurants have tables for 10.

The ship hasn't yet made its first cruise so no one can tell you with any certainty. The most someone could say is whether tables that size are available on the other ships, but that's no guarantee that this ship will be the same.

Current ships only have a few in GDR, and in specialty most we could was 6 or 8.

If I may, when we are traveling with 10 friends, knowing the Specialty restaurants don’t have tables for 10 and the other option is the 10 in GDR, my answer, Privee 😇 It is a wonderful way for you and your special friends to enjoy a private meal with multiple menu choices with your own attentive staff.  OK, it will cost you $30 pp, but for us it is always worth it for a very special evening.  You can book Privee far in advance so you can build your Specialty dining reservations around that date.  Problem solved IF you are sailing on Marina, Riviera or Vista.

The Privee is indeed wonderful and it works so well because it is a private enclave with out all the surrounding noise. 
 

Even the eight tops are to large, imo, to be able to hear and enjoy the conversation of all table occupants.

Yes Privee is good for larger parties   & you can make all the noise you want without disturbing the other diners 🍷
