Glacier Gardens: Yea or Nay?

Empty as in not crowded? Did they comment on things to see there in May? We booked the Glacier and Gardens through HAL and had some concern that the Gardens may not be particularly spectacular due to the time of year.

Empty as in no flowers. They said they saw soil with plants and no flowers/blossoms.

Thanks, that was my concern. There are other options, we'll switch things up but still go to the Glacier.
