I assume they haven't proof read the terms or this is a placeholder.  🙂

However the two paragraphs read:

Applicable sailings: Fleetwide - 3+ night sailings in 2022 only

and

THREE EXTRA LATITUDES POINTS PER NIGHT ON SELECT CRUISES

fyi, we're booked into a 2bedroom suite on a back2back july 27th through aug 15. my reservation indicates triple latitude points, so we're getting 57 points total. just enough to squeak me into diamond, although as ive posted before, the diamond perks dont really help me anymore than being sapphire.

that being said, however, im not turning them down

Is LATDBLX a code for double points? We just booked Joy to Bermuda in July today and I was looking at the codes on the reservation and that one struck me as possibly double points.

Correct, together - this will give you at least triple points per night as booked, quad points if yours being a suite or Haven ... On top/page 1 of this forum's "home"page - there is a Sticky decoding all the known ones, past & present.

Thank you! Definitely no suites for us haha. I never saw that sticky (I usually just scroll past 🙈). I’m going to take a look now!

Hello and thank you everyone who is contributing on these boards. I’m learning so much about cruising by reading Cruise critic.  I booked my cruise during 2/1-3/31/23 extra triple latitude points period to Europe. My NCL travel agent tells me that my cruise is qualified and will get extra triple points, but I do not see that as part of my codes on confirmation statement.  I only see LATREW*.  Do I need to worry that I won’t get extra points upon completion of my cruise? My cruise is from 5/31-6/12/23. When will I see my points after the completion of the cruise?  Thank you.

Yes you should be concerned.  If codes latitude, latdblx, or latriple are not on your confirmation I don't think you'll get the extra points.

Yea, @davencl is spot on. Latrew means nothing in regard to points. Your PCC needs to add the code Dave mentioned to your booking in order for you to receive them.

Thank you so much, both!  I’ll talk to my PCC.

I always get my PCC to confirm in writing as we don't get the list of promos in the top right of the confirmation as you do in the US.

This was his reply for my upcoming Europe on Star:

Everyone talks about the codes. However, we booked with a TA last week for the first time and neither our confirmation email. nor our reservation on our NCL account show any codes. Every other time we booked directly with NCL and were able to see the code. Thoughts?

When I used a TA, they did not automatically send me the NCL confirmation.  So you'd have to ask your TA to send it to you.

Based on my first outside TA experience, they can have their own invoices that don’t show many or any codes. I asked (nicely) for the original NCL invoice from my TA  and that had all the codes on it (incl LATRIPLE which is a dream).

The links seem to go to the same cruises. Awesome, you can get 5 extra points!

They fixed the year so it says 2023 now but the dates are still overlapping and the links point to the same cruises. I guess it's still 5 extra points!

I booked my cruise before the promo period I think. It's so hard to tell with NCL whether it's a reoccurring promo or a new one. Anyways, the code is not on my confirmation but everything's fully paid and the cruise is in a few weeks. Can I just call and get it added? I have no idea what points I'm getting.

EDIT: I looked at my first confirmation and I did have the Double code. My latest confirmation it dropped off.  I guess I have to call. Dang it.

You only get the points that were in effect when you booked.  If you get a price adjustment prior to final payment, you get the points offered at that time.  I don't believe they will change your points after final payment.

You said "latest confirmation" - did you make any changes to your reservation, other than payments?

Don't think it's 5 extra points.  Previous promo was 3 for some Europe or Alaska cruises, 2 for 2023 cruises.

I upgraded and paid the difference on 6-Apr-2023 which falls in the 3 extra points bucket. Confirmation still said booking date is 21-Jan-2023. I bet if I call tomorrow I'm going to have to educate them on their own changes because they can't even keep up. It's either 3 because it's Alaska or a 6-Apr-2023 "booking" or the 2 points that it was originally when I booked on 21-Jan-2023 or something else entirely because this is NCL I'm dealing with. And of course whatever I can get on the confirmation they send me could be different from what happens after the cruise.

I had a similar thing happen to me.  I called and they fixed it.  The PCC couldn't fix it but he called the department that could and got it fixed.

Hilarious.. Anyways, I called Casinos at Sea which did my booking. The person couldn't find the original promo details in Jan. Didn't know what was suppose to apply when. Was checking with some other department. Finally just said if the system isn't allowing her to do it she can't do anything. If it's Jan 21 I should probably get what was on my invoice originally (+2 pts). If it's Apr 6 it should be the current promo which is +3 pts I guess (terms are still conflicting). If it didn't happen on the Apr 6 call, then I guess I'm out of luck. By the way, I mentioned a couple of times the current promo was confusing and she didn't seem like she knew how many points were supposed to be awarded and for what.

She then pointed me to Latitudes and gave me a number which I read back to her to confirm. I called and a recording said I can get a Walmart $100 giftcard and to hold for a live rep. I hung up.

I was hoping to make Sapphire after my December cruise. With +3 points and the Dec cruise, I'll be right at Sapphire.  Oh well.

Because I hate myself and deserve punishment for past deeds I called again today. She was able to add the code back right away and sent the invoice. It was so quick I don't know if she even checked anything.

It was double extra points like my original invoice. I looked at the UK site terms which by the way is also messed up however, it did look more right. I think they meant to roll over the previous promos.

My guess is it should be:

Double extra for whatever cruises (it's unclear but I guess whatever comes up in the search with the Past Guest Offer filter)

But Triple for only the following ships and itineraries:

Alaska (Jewel and Spirit)

Europe (Dawn, Gem, Getaway, Star)

My Alaska cruise is on the Sun so it's double extra.
