royalcedars Posted April 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2023 We disembark around 8 am and check in at our Airbnb isn't until 4 pm. Any ideas where we could store our luggage during that time so that we can take a tour and enjoy lunch? The Airbnb host has been unresponsive to my questions about luggage dropoff. marys350 Posted April 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2023 (edited) Luggage storage is available at the cruise terminal. https://www.portquebec.ca/en/cruises/information-for-cruise-ship-passengers/customer-service Edited April 16, 2023 by marys350

Personally I would find a nice hotel near your Airbnb with a nice restaurant and just have them check your bags while you eat and walk around. Assuming your Airbnb isn't directly next to the cruise terminal it would beat having to double back there, especially in light of arriving passengers for the next cruise at that time in the afternoon. hughster Posted September 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2023 I'm in Quebec City now. The terminal that is mentioned in the link is currently occupied by a boutique cruise ship. We're in the Zuiderdam, and I see no sign of baggage storage here. And this terminal is a mass of confusion. Tomorrow, when we disembark, I'll probably pay a cab to take us to the other terminal to drop off the bags while we pass 8 hours waiting for our flight. GTJ Posted September 1, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2023 Try the Gare du Palais. Absent any changes since my last visit, in the bus portion of the railway station there are self-service luggage lockers (towards the back of the station, on the left). Is there any port personnel in the terminal maybe they can tell you if there is baggage storage at Pier
hughster Posted September 4, 2023 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2023 I was wrong. There is, in fact, short-term baggage storage for disembarking passengers at the Quay 30 terminal on the St Charles River, opposite the White Birch Paper mill. $10 per bag. Caveat: You need to pick your bags back up by 5:00 pm. Which worked perfectly well for us. The clerk was a very pleasant young woman. Ron

That is such a disappointment. ☹️ I had used them on multiple prior travels, and had no reason to believe that the bus part of the station would have decided to rid itself of the lockers. The rail part of the station has not had lockers for ages (if ever).
mdj59 Posted September 9, 2023 #10 Share Posted September 9, 2023 If you are going by ViaRail that day, you can store your bags. I just contacted ViaRail and they said “You can store your bags at the baggage counter by showing your ticket for the later train.”
Rare mistyPA Posted July 13 #11 Share Posted July 13 We are staying at Les Lofts de la Barricade and would like to store our bags the day we depart. We have to be out of the loft by 11 and were hoping we could store the bags prior to boarding around 1230 or 1:00. Does anyone know of a place we could store our luggage prior to embarking? Teacupcake Posted July 13 #12 Share Posted July 13 I haven't used them, but I did happen across Bounce.com, which seems to be automated luggage lockers. They have several locations in Quebec City. Sorry can’t help with storage, but is it worth it to store luggage for an hour or so. If I am reading your question correctly, you are going from the loft to the ship. Why not just take the luggage to the ship and drop it with the porters and then go do your thing until you are ready to board.

Thank you so much!!! We are just overthinking. Thanks again!
