Getting ready to leave on the  legend can anyone tell me how they give you your fun play is it on your card or cash?

Go to cashier at casino and show your sign and sail and they will give you cash.  Good luck.

If you play tables, they will give you chips. If you do slots they will load the fun play onto your sail n sign card. We have not been given cash for fun play in a long time. At least that is our experience for the past 2 years and we have been a lot.

On certain older ships they give you cash!  I think it is the smaller ships below dream class. I sailed sunshine last summer and got cash at the cage! Got fun chips on Mardis Gras last week.

Is loading the fun play on your sign n sail card any different than getting a $25 onboard credit? That is, could you use it for something other than the casino if you wished? (I'm thinking of the Platinum $25 fun play you get in lieu of the tournament entry)

We got chips on Spirit this past October…chips on Magic last May.

Fun Play credit is casino only, not OBC that can be used anywhere.

I think it depends  on the amount.  I had $750 in funplay.  
 

When I went to the cage to get the funplay, they asked if I play slots.  I said yes and so they added it to my card as “funplay,” meaning that I actually had to push the “funplay” button to gamble with it. 
 

Once I won a little something, I added that $$ to my “bank. “
 

The next time I sat at a machine, I used the “funplay” button again.  Then just moved those winnings to my bank.  And so on.  
 

The $25 Platinum money is either given in cash or put on your card, depending on the ship.

I have always got cash on the Legend but I have never received over $1000, so not sure what happens  over that amount.

Every cruise I’ve ever taken; we’ve had free play and it’s always been just loaded on your card. (And we’ve sailed all classes but freedom)

The last two times I sailed, Oct. 22 on the Valor and Oct. 23 on the Sunshine, the $25 Fun Play for Platinum/Diamond members was given as cash at the casino cage.

I was just on the Legend for New Years, and we received cash.
