The description of Craft Social includes ‘bar bites you can make into a meal’ so I ate the Kobe Beef Sliders and Dry Rub Chicken Wings (very small sized wings) with some hot sauce on the side. I enjoyed them and consider them a repeat item. @bnurick thanks for the review of craft social👍 @DJsDH loves wings, burgers and beers, especially about mid cruise. Looks like we need to check this out next month on EQ🍻

After using the facilities, on the way back to wait, another lady jumped out of her seat to tell me how great of a job I did today. 🧐 She also quickly realized I was a fellow passenger and said she had a lot to drink and apologized. They both thought I was the Cruise Director. 😂 Not wearing that shirt again this sailing… OK, so enquiring minds are interested in viewing the shirt you were wears so as not to encounter the same issue!!!!!😆 😂 It was just a white with light blue pinstripes button up collar shirt from Brooks Brothers and dark pants. Nothing like a dark vest or anything! 🤦🏼♂️

I plan on doing a post later on the time changes. I felt it is/was very hard. My global thoughts are you need a schedule/plan for the mental game/challenge. The second time, if I did this again, would be 100% easier for me. The plus one hour four days in a row needs a couple blackout days where you force your body to start adjusting like the thought when you fly you stay awake one time which is very hard. Hope this helps.

Rare bnurick Posted April 28, 2023 Author #106 Share Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) Day 8 Recap ( At Sea Day 4/6 ) ⏰ Time: Woke up around 8:15AM, which felt like I slept in so I am pretty much time adjusted. 🍽️ OVC: Showered up and hit the OVC around peak time to me. The daily shows a “late breakfast” time from 10AM to 11AM I am assuming for very late risers. I did the usual fried eggs and sausage links with a double shot cafe americano. 🛋️ Lounger: The lounger is my go to spot now while my house at home is asleep (4AM) while I am up. 🍽️ OVC: Lunch was pizza and rice with protein. I find I have to think outside the box some, as I found rice with black beans and then found grilled chicken. Combine and 💥 it is what I wanted. 🍍Fruit Plate: The staff really wants to get my fruit plate exact. Today they hit it perfectly. (See picture). 🏋️ Gym: 75 treadmill minutes today as I wanted to finish my Netflix series. Was very good as I previously posted. Will go through downloads I did pre-cruise and also add The Diplomat per @DisneyJen 🙏. 🍸 Martini Bar: Now that I am feeling better with the time change and sea’s I found I-Putu and he brought me my usual. He delivers it at the outside seating of Craft Social where it is quieter and I can deal with emails, etc. 🍽️ Craft Social Bar: Back for a second night ( tomorrow is Murano 3x ) and with the portion size did two orders of chicken wings and the Kobe beef sliders. Add tobacco and both had the slight kick I was looking for. Warning, it takes awhile for the food to come (20 to 30 minutes), so I recommend getting your order in quickly depending on your time constraint. 🎲 Craps: Total disaster. Even on the trip and the dealers looked frustrated as there were many casualties and no tips. 🤦🏼♂️ 🌊 Sea’s: Calm this morning. It’s 9:00AM as I finish this post up. Waiting for the Captain’s report around 9:45AM. Cheers from the Silhouette! Edited April 28, 2023 by bnurick

Rare bnurick Posted April 29, 2023 Author #109 Share Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) Day 9 Recap ( At Sea Day 5/6 ) ⏰ Time: Fully adjusted. 🇮🇪 Onboard Ireland Customs: Apparently they flew in immigration to Bermuda. I received a time window and got my passport stamped. 🍽️ OVC: Showered up and hit the OVC for the usual fried eggs and sausage links with a double shot cafe americano. 🛋️ Lounger: Changed to a lounger on the opposite side since the wind has slowed and the smoking section fumes are now stronger down wind. 🍽️ Cafe al Baco: With it being a Murano night I need to go light. Coffee and two oatmeal cookies 🍪 today. 🍍Fruit Plate: The melon returned and I ate it all as I was hungry 😂. Also, they deliver at 2PM religiously. 🏋️ Gym: 60 minutes or 3.5 miles logged. 🍸 Martini Bar: I-Putu took my comments about yesterday’s lychee martini was not the same and he made it himself. It was perfect. 🍽️ Murano 3.0: I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I requested Vimal as he is so professional and meticulous. Amuse Bouche cheese, cheese plate, diver scallop Wellington, pork belly, Dover sole Veronique and mango sorbet. Wow! PSA: Don’t be the complainer next to me saying the portion sizes wouldn’t make it in France. They literally will make you two dishes. I felt so sorry for the server at the end I spoke to him later and asked if my water glass was half full or half empty. He said full, and I told him he did an outstanding job from what I witnessed, some people see empty. 🎲 Craps: Great table! Lot’s of energy and good rolls. Bed: When we had rough sea’s the ship was rocking front to back, so I moved to the hard surface couch to sleep. I liked it so much I kept sleeping there. Agung seemed concerned and he decided to take matters into his own hands and make me a mattress with sheet setup. It was a lot more comfortable last night. And yes, that’s my blanket 😂 from home. 🌊 Sea’s: Lake Water this morning. Cheers from the Silhouette! Edited April 29, 2023 by bnurick 3
Rare bnurick Posted April 29, 2023 Author #110 Share Posted April 29, 2023 Medical Emergency It’s a little somber onboard this morning. The Captain is working very hard to find an area without fog for a helicopter emergency landing. My iPad mini that I bought in 2015 has given up the ghost, so I am looking for another one. It was 125 gb and because of the fantastic exchange rate, I got it for an excellent price. I just wonder if they are selling new stock, as post COVID, they were only selling old stock. When I enquired last August, I was told ‘ come back in September!😱 I finally made it to the ilounge and here are the prices. iPad Mini 64G $500 256G $650 iPad Pro 64G $800 They also mentioned an iPad 9 10.2 for $480 Hope this helps. Rare Jim_Iain Posted April 29, 2023 #121 Share Posted April 29, 2023 Finally got caught up. Great post. You really lucked out being two days ahead of Apex. We have been tossing around in 15-30 foot seas and 20-45 MPH winds. We were in the eye today and had nice smoother 10-15 foot waves but just about to go through the back side. Incredible a couple days make we Arrive Cobh May 2. The forgot to send us our Immigration time slot and when Asked the butler he apologized and said they are waiting for you now. Luck we had no line and only one in the room. Gave us an opportunity to talk to the Immigration Officer. He is a Garda (Police Officer) and when a ship is making first port of call into EU they select an officer to fly to Bermuda a day before the cruise and they just work 3 days and then get tor enjoy the cruise for the remaining 3 days - Veranda Cabin Solo - I kidded and said "No Drink Package?" If you are half as lucky with weather as you are in the Casino you should be killing the Casino.
