Who is considered VIP at the Miami NCL cruise port?

I was just looking at pictures of the NCL Miami cruise terminal and it  shows a VIP area.  Are Latitudes Sapphire  members considered VIP ?

In the old days there was a separate waiting area for Latitudes members.

Diamond and Ambasador passengers might be considered VIP guests.  Usually VIP guests are usually high ranking vendors, guests of Corporate officials, travel editors, etc.

@www3traveler is bang on, but, sometimes the person who takes the lead as the Meet and Greet organizer is chosen, as well. Since the pandemic that may have changed but, that was the way it was prior to that horrid covid virus.

Depends on what you consider VIP? So Miami Cruise Port, There is a separate entrance for Haven, Separate Security screening, separate check in, and also separate Lounge/Waiting area. When we boarded 2 weeks ago only people we seen in Haven area where Haven Guests.

The VIP Lounge is where Haven guests go through security, check-in, and wait to board. Not sure anyone else is considered a VIP.
