Veranda suite amenities/products

Sailing on Dawn in June.  DW has a few questions:

What brand products are on board shampoo/soap/lotions?

Do they have complimentary bath salts or similar in the room?

Is the make-up mirror magnified?

Do they have amenity kits with qtips...

Just so we don't overpack and bring stuff they have.

I just want to know what beers are on board but I'm sure I'll find a few that work.

The standard soaps and shampoos are Bvlgari (Bulgari), although they have other scents available if you ask (for example, DH always asks for Ortigia Siciliana, which is less perfume-y).  They come in bar soap, liquid hand soap, liquid shampoo, conditioner and liquid shampoo/body wash combo.  There's a lotta soap!

The bath salts are not automatically in the room but can be requested from the Butler.  The "Otium" program in the Dawn boasts that you may request a luxury bath experience with salts, LED candles, rose petals, etc.  I beta-tested it in the Moon and it was pretty nice.

Amenity kits are in the bathrooms; I believe they include q-tips.  I don't have a specific memory about the magnified mirror, but I use one and I don't recall being disappointed.

Yes, no Lonestar on board.

I learned a long time ago at Dick's Last Resort on the riverwalk in San Antonio that "no self-respecting Texan drinks Lone Star".  🙂

I was referring to Shiner.

It's Lone Star, 2 words. What about Shiner?

The Bock, of course.  But also the Black Lager.  Both delicious.

I remember when you couldn't get Shiner outside of Texas.  Now it's at my local Publix grocery store, and I always keep some in the fridge at home.

Man, I miss Texas BBQ with Shiner Bock...

Yes shiner is the beer of Texas now!  though there are a lot of microbreweries like Franconia that are good too.  What beers do they have on SS.  On regent I usually had stella, tiger, erdinger or Sapporo (and Sake) in the Asian restaurant.

Just boarded Whisper in Vancouver and the amenities in our suite are  Seba Med?

Not what I was expecting 😞

I just googled the brand.  Excellent reviews.  Particularly good for sensitive skin.  Medical grade.   I'm on the Moon in 3 weeks.  I would be happy with the brand if that is what they provide.

Be careful I hear the moon is made of cheese 🧀

Thank you for your replies.

I have spoken to our Butler and he was happy to replace the items with something that did not remind us of hospital visits 😊

Another first world problem solved

Back to the 🍾🍾🍾

We have had Bulgari in our verandah suites but you can ask for Seba Med. It is good for my seborrheic dermatitis. I thought that's why it has that name.
