Soft Ice Cream?

Does Carnival still have soft ice cream machines on board? If so what are the hours please?My husband is an ice cream nut!

https://www.carnival.com/cruise-food/swirls I do not know the current hours, they shut the machines down at night but I don't know exact hours these days. 9AM - midnight maybe? Just a guess.

The free ice cream any time is the only reason i was able to get the Grandchildren on the cruise. LoL

Go to Java Blue and order a milkshake, UNSHAKED...LOL. Put it into a big paper cup

They use regular ice cream for milkshakes.

Also, grown ups can get banana splits, they use real ice cream, not the soft serve.

can get banana split from kids menu in MDR also. Other tables will ask "how did you get that?"

DH always orders at least one a cruise in dining room, along with the kids pizza and spaghetti.

yes just ask for the split and they will bring it to you. Don't be afraid

On Celebration they were shut down by 10 some(most) nights

I thought ice cream was 24 hour. I guess that changed.  The last time I cruised was right before quarantine.

Yes, Carnival has cut hours and menus at nearly all their venues since COVID. Pizza no longer 24 hours either. I think officially pizza is 9AM - 3AM, but realistically there's nobody there until closer to noon.
