1 -How are the lounge chairs by the pool? Are the chair hogs up early reserving? Does MSC enforce any pool rules about lounges?

2 - Are there bar waiters walking around the pool area?

3- Is the casino crowded? I saw a report that said the casino was not big like other cruise lines.

Thanks!

1. Are there plugs near the bed for CPAP machines?  If not how far away would the nearest plug be so we know how long an extension cord to bring.

2.  Are you allowed to bring packaged snacks to keep in the cabin?

Thanks

There are no plugs by the bed, they are by the desk. I ordered a long cord. If packaged, sealed yes.

  1. Are the walls metal so that we can bring a super strong magnet to hang stuff on?
  2. Can you share the Daily Planners as you go? Sailing in a week and want to preplan some things.
  3. Toiletries attach to wall type or individual bottles?

I haven't done either , so you are giving me a reason to check things out. We are in Nassau today, so I'll let you know tomorrow. 🙂

We have an interior cabin. The plugs are not by the bed, they are at the little desk area. I'd suggest a decent length extension cord. Remember they can't be surge protectors.  I have brought packaged snacks on before with no problem.

1. Yes, the walls are metal. Magnet hooks are great. 2. I'll take pics and post later. 3. Attached to the wall. Only shampoo and shower gel. It doesn't seem to be shampoo with conditioner, so my hair isn't the same as I'm used to. Also, no bars of soap. It is like you get in a public bathroom.

Is the ship using cruise cards where you slip a part of it down to open the door or it's a bracelet? (Want to see if I should bring lanyard, badge holder or hole punch card.)

How is the dining service so far?

Was there a Welcome Back Cocktail for regular members? (So not Yacht Club and if this is not your first time on MSC)

Thanks for doing this! We are so anxious about our trip in 2 weeks!

Onboard this week as well.

You tap your cruise card to the door, and it unlocks your cabin.

Dining service is excellent. We’ve also eaten in the specialty restaurants, and they are exceptional. Def worth buying a package with 3 1/2 sea days. The food in the buffet is very good. I’m gluten free and have found plenty of healthy options. Today, the buffet had a dessert bar (I’ll post a pic below), and tomorrow’s will be all chocolate according to the pastry chef.

Yes, there is a welcome back cocktail party. Ours is today (Friday) at 5pm.

Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to take questions!

I am curious about the smoking policy and how its being enforced.  I've heard that the cruise line tends to slack on this and lots of areas smell like smoke and folks smoke in their cabins/balconies.  Are you experiencing any of this?

Thanks!

How was the Welcome Back? Were there complimentary drinks? We are not buying the alcohol package, so trying to see where to get low price drinks. 😃  (First time sailing CHILD-FREE!!)

We didn't attend the Welcome Back, so I can't address it. Maybe someone with experience can answer this.

Is there any place to view sports events?   Casino bar?....Brass Anchor Pub?  TIA

They showed the NBA Playoff Game last night in the TV Studio and Bar, the Brass Anchor Pub and the Casino bar. They also have ESPN and ESPN 2 on the cabin TV.

I haven't seen or smelled smoke anywhere except slightly in the Casino. Seems people are keeping to the smoking areas. I can't speak to balconies because we are in an inside cabin.

Do you feel like there is enough non-music entertainment on the cruise to keep you busy? Wondering if we should bring a deck of cards or prepare to entertain ourselves on the sailing days.

I would bring a deck of cards. I will be posting the Daily Planner soon, so you can see what you like. 🙂
