OilPainter2020 Posted May 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2023 Does Regent still allow a visitor to board whilst in port? We have a friend who will be in Bermuda at the same time as our Navigator. (I have also reached out to my TA) Thank you
Pcardad Posted May 25, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2023 They cancelled visits for COVID....I doubt they are allowed but I would be happy to be wrong.
OilPainter2020 Posted May 25, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted May 25, 2023 Thought as much. Thank you.
Joanandjoe Posted May 25, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2023 Probably not allowed; but "not asking is an automatic NO." Have your TA ask Regent whether this is possible. Our next cruise is an US river cruise, and our cruise line, American Cruise Lines, is once again allowing guests who are vetted well in advance. We will have a dinner guest one night. Maybe Regent will allow a guest.
OilPainter2020 Posted May 25, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted May 25, 2023 My TA advised it’s currently not allowed. Thanks!
Kwaj girl Posted May 26, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Not allowed? NOT TRUE! We had visitors join us on Navigator a couple of weeks ago when we docked in Jacksonville.

Note that the local authorities may have a say in the matter as to whether they will allow "outsiders"....so I have been told. 🙄
nfcu Posted May 26, 2023 #10 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Visitors were also allowed on our Splendor cruise in March 2023.
OilPainter2020 Posted May 26, 2023 Author #11 Share Posted May 26, 2023 I phoned Regent twice this morning and was told by both representatives that they are not allowing visitors at this time.
RELS Posted May 26, 2023 #12 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Try emailing specialrequests@rssc.com Often they are better informed than the phone agents. They can take a while to get back to you.
OilPainter2020 Posted May 26, 2023 Author #13 Share Posted May 26, 2023 I just send an email request. Crossing my fingers. Thank you 😊

Thank you 😊 If this does not work, go to Guest Services after boarding and submit the request. Things are sometimes handled differently once you are on the ship. OilPainter2020 Posted May 27, 2023 Author #15 Share Posted May 27, 2023 I received the Visitor Registration form from the special requests email. It clearly states a 30 day advance request. We depart June 11th. I’ll submit it and see what happens. Thank you to all!
