I’m glad I’ve whetted the appetite amongst the bourbon aficionados. Not buying the drink package might have been a mistake…

What’s the current price?

$80 a day, if I didn’t have the diamond drinks I would have considered it.

Too bad you can’t use the kids diamond drinks for a half shot.

Yikes that ridiculous. We are paying $72 for our October Aventure sailing and I feel that’s too high. We are Diamond but still like having the package for everything else we drink.

Speaking of bourbon, I stopped into the local to get some cheap wine to bring on board and snagged a 12 year 1792 for $60, a complete and utter steal.

Nice collection.  Some high quality bottles...and for me, the OGD 114 is one of the best bang for the buck buys out there.  its hard to find in my area.

I plan on only winning in the casino so hopefully one offsets the other.

Agreed. OGD 114 is amazing. I’ve only had one bottle. Too hard to find.

Thank you! I will have to get that at a later date. I just spent my bourbon allowance on Friday.

Solid snags, decent allowance as well.

As I tell my wife, I don’t have a bass boat or a motorcycle. I don’t have a golf club membership. I just like good bourbon and whiskey. 😉

Wish I could find that here!

My last allowance went for this:

I've never had Nashville Barrel, but got a deal through a local Bourbon club so I figured I'd try them.

I'll be on her when you are done with her. If you use the kids club or whatever it's called I'd like pictures and your thoughts. Sailing with my GD (4) and GS (9).  Thanks and enjoy.

We sailed last year on Oasis from NJ on the same route and had our 6 year old Granddaughter who went the Kids Club and loved it. Checked in and out, lots to do from games to crafts and she loved it. Took her there for an hour to see how she liked it on the first day and she stayed for another and did at least 2 hours a day.

I'll be doing an Oasis family cruise in July, so please post flyers from the Kids Club.  I'll be bringing my grandsons ages 5 & 7 on their first cruise, so their parents are really interested in the kids club info. Enjoy!

That Nashville Barrel looks interesting. How is it? Never seen it here.

Ok so be gentle on a newly minted diamond…

Diamond lounge happy hour isn’t a free for all with free alcoholic drinks correct?

IMG_3268.jpeg

Correct. Have to use your vouchers for those drinks, unfortunately.

Lol thank you for asking this question.

This was a staged photo, no allocated bourbon was harmed in the making of this picture.

🤣 🤣 I didn't want to say anything...

Although I usually reserve judgment on those deals...I definitely fall on the "You bought it, drink what you want how you want it" side of things...

FYI... They had Blanton's for sale on the Oasis two weeks ago. It wasn't on display, but if you asked the person behind the register, he would get it for you. It was $110, but I didn't get any because I got three bottles in San Maarten in February for $80 each.

Last bottle of Blanton's I got on board Symphony was $80. Royal should not be charging any more than that.
