Is there a place to go to see when ships are changing home ports?

not really.    You dont get told until they do it.      We booked the magic last year and since carnival moved ships around they booted us off and put us on the Venezia

I suppose you could go down to the pier and watch them as they sail away for the last time or sail in for the first time.
