Has anyone booked a cabin near the elevators? We have been upgraded from DV6 - DV2, but it is next to elevator on Deck 6. #6063 

Should we be concerned with noise level?

We’ve been next to elevators on deck 3 and 4. We’ve never had a noise problem, in fact we never saw a crowd waiting for the elevators either. The elevators are very quiet. We have 2 upcoming cruise cabins near elevators.

The only downside to the cabins situated near the elevators/stairs like cabin 6063 is will be when you open your cabin door those gathered outside can see right in. This seems to bother some. 😜

Noise typically isn't a problem.

What about noise from the public deck above.  Never been on Deck 6 before.

We were near elevators on Deck 5 (5062) & heard no noise at all.

We have been in 6025 and heard no noise. Very quiet….and easy to get to everything. (Good exercise getting from the Living Room after obtaining my early morning coffee!)

We stayed in #6060 2 months ago on the Venus. Although we loved the proximity to the stairs and elevators and only rarely heard noise from either, there was quite a bit of noise coming from above particularly during the night and early morning hours. Perhaps it was the public deck to which Clay was referring?

On Mars tonight, cabin 4029. For the last 12 night we can attest to ZIP noise. We are light sleepers. No noise at all.

May have been setup/cleaning in the WC or possibly the Pool Grill, but most likely the former. If you look at the deck plans on Vikingcruises.com you’ll see you were kind of equidistant under both entities.
