Please help me decipher deck plan 'divider'

So our travel agent found some more affordable rooms for our cruise but the downside is that they're near the elevators (or so it seems). It's hard to tell on the deck plan if the barriers shown are walls/hallways or something else?  Anyone know what this is or have real photos of what it looks like?

its an actual wall and hallways.

 

there is one hallway between the stairs/elevator and another hallway in front of the 7446-7456 cabins with a wall between the hallways

This blank area is typically crew area used for storing linens, carts, ice maker, steps, etc.

Never had a problem being near elevators.  Indeed, these cabins may be preferable due to shorter walking distance.

If you're worried about noise, the elevators are rarely an issue.  It is what's directly below you on deck 6 that you should be most concerned with.

Being near the elevators is NOT a bad thing---it's a plus.

We had one of those double interior rooms and loved it because there was virtually no traffic going up and down the hall.  We were on Independence and to get to the interior hallway, you had to open a door which cut out even more sound.  Slept great on that cruise.  We usually don't do interiors, but that separated area from the main hallways is actually quite nice.

You will get no elevator noise, and probably less passenger noise in those cabins versus ones that are in most locations on the ship.  I would be good with them.

We've had cabins right by the elevators multiple times and never heard noise from them.

In a recent Royal Carib blog video he mentioned that being next to the elevators used to be a problem because of the noise, but they've care of that.

Wouldn't take a room anywhere else.  Easy access.
