Volendam in Juneau on June 30, 2023

ms Volendam will be at CT dock from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and she is on a 7 day Alaska Inside Passage

 

 

 

Disney Wonder is at AJD dock (6:00 am to 5:00 pm), National Geographic Sea Lion is at ICT dock (6:00 am to 11:00 pm), Quantum of the Seas is at AS dock (1:00 pm to 9:00 pm) and Carnival Luminosa is at FKL dock (1:00 pm to 10:00 pm)

I may be wrong but am still optimistic:

 

 

I may be wrong but remain optimistic.  St. Herman is one of the tour boats that carries HAL passengers up Tracy Arm.  The little blue arrow to the left of St. Herman is a passenger vessel reported by satellite, and according to cruisemapper it is the Volendam,  I do not usually look at the webcam till the ship passes Thane, but hope the weather is better than it was when I looked a few hours ago.

The weather changed three times on Wednesday - from clear to pea soup to clear with some higher elevation fog.in about 6 hours or less.

Marine map now showing Volendam ahead of Quantum. You are probably correct about the tour boat. @rafinmd

Unfortunately, Quantum is doing about 21kt and Volendam 15.  Not so promising.

Of course. I would expect nothing less than a blocked view. Quantum beats her in most of the time. So far - not raining.

It doesn't help that Volendam is not updating on the marine map. 28 minutes stale.

Camera does have a few raindrops on it. - No surprise.

I've never seen that happen in all my years of watching. I've never seen two cruise ships meet in the Channel either.
