ChizzQatar Posted June 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2023 Hi all - will be doing a Christmas cruise on Azura departing Tenerife on Dec 23. Arrives back in Tenerife on Dec 29 with an overnight in port, before we disembark for the flight home on the 30th. Thinking of hiring a car for the whole day on the 29th and would like to book it soon, but have no idea at what time (roughly) we will be able to get off the ship. Booking only says "early morning". Does anyone have a rough idea of a docking/disembarkation time? Checked Santa Cruz port schedule, but the Azura schedule is one of the few arrival/departure times that are blank. Many thanks. molecrochip Posted June 30, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2023 If you contact P&O they will give you provisional times, They are firmed up about a month out. They are only finalised a day or two out, dependent upon wind, pilots etc.
Rare david63 Posted June 30, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2023 For some inexplicable reason P&O do not publish "expected" port times even though they have been booked years in advance - seems really strange when most other cruise lines have this information available. "Early morning" would generally be anywhere between 07:00 and 09:00. Unless P&O change their policy you will only know a definite time once you are onboard. (If you do a Google search there are few sites that list the times but they are not always accurate)

tring Posted June 30, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2023 As Molecrochip suggests, if you are keen to have more info. you can email P&O who will send provisional times, we did this for a forthcoming cruise in September. No point asking too early, but it took a couple of weeks for the reply, so do not leave it too late either. Most of the time we are quite happy with the approximations on the cruise schedule, do only done that once. Of course they can still change. besberry Posted July 1, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2023 If you go to a shore excursion site such as https://www.shoreexcursionsgroup.com/ then you should be able to find all the times. They've never been wrong for me yet!
