Blackjack - continuous shuffle or shoe?

We enjoy a few nights of light gambling when cruising. I believe from other posts that table minimums are in the $10-25 range but I'm wondering if SS uses continuous shuffle? We will be on the Dawn out of Copenghagen in August. Thank you!

How many decks?  Calculating ... er ... inquiring minds want to know. 😏

I agree with Neilio, they play 6 or 8 card shoes.  They used to use Vegas rules but I haven’t played on the last couple of cruises so not sure now.

Which Las Vegas rules? 😏

Mostly wondering if 6:5 or 3:2 payouts, or does it depend upon table stakes or time of day?

3:2 game with Vegas strip rules last I played.  Again, been a few years and contractors come and go and may play different rules now.

Inflation has hit the Vegas strip. I was just there a couple of weeks ago and blackjack now pays out at 6:5 and not 3:2 at all the tables I saw. I don't play roulette but they also added a 000.

On the Muse. Played BJ tonight while my wife packed 😀. It’s 6 deck from shoe and BJ pays 3:2. Dealer buries the first 5 cards. Also, dealer only deals one card to himself prior to the table hitting/standing. Once the table is done the dealer deals his 2nd card and so on. There was 1 table tonight and it was $10 min and $50 max. It was an outstanding week on Muse from Seward to Vancouver.

Happy Cruising

Just got off the Moon. Everything was as described in this thread ($10 min, $50 max, 3:2, etc.). Casino was empty most of the time with not more than two players during the peak time, no BJ tournament, no excitement. 😉

Could anyone tell me if there are any video poker machines? Specifically on Silver Moon? It’s one of our guilty pleasures on a cruise.  Thank you.

I have never seen a video poker machine on any Silversea ship.  Granted the casino is subcontracted so things can change.  Silversea casinos are very small and pretty basic.

9/6 (one could wish) 7/5 or some other payout for J or Better?

Unfortunately could not choose to play Jacks or better because of troubles with the touchscreen, so cannot answer your question. 😞

Can you charge slots to your account?  Is there a fee?

Cash only in casinos on all cruise lines that I had experience with.
