Price Drop After Final Payment

I recall that you can't grab a price drop after final payment has been made, but you can get OBC in the amount of the difference. Is this the case?

Just noticed a price drop too in our aqua class stateroom. I’ve just asked my Celebrity rep. I will update soon.

The answer is no.   They were doing this for awhile after the restart to get people to be comfortable booking again but that ended April of 2022.

Request for a Lower Cruise Fare

Celebrity will apply an onboard credit to the booking in the amount of 100% of the difference in price.

Request to Add or Change an Added Value Offer

Celebrity will 1) apply an Added Value Offer to booking and 2) go to prevailing eligible cruise fare

NOTE: If either the new cruise fare or Added Value Offer is not combinable with any promotion associated with the existing booking, or changes are being made outside of promotional booking window, the existing promotion will be removed from the booking. My experience has been that after the "Cruise with Confidence" COVID policy ended any price reductions after final payment are not eligible for either an OBC or reduction.  (exception is the price guarantee for 48 hours from booking).

 

I have however found that sometimes a higher classification cabin drops to a price at least $1.00 higher than you current price and you can UPGRADE to the higher priced cabin.
