Hotels and Shuttles

Hello,

 

I am sailing Sept 16th and will be in Miami on the 15th at midnight.  There will be 7 in our party.  We are looking for a hotel with an airport shuttle and a shuttle to the Port of Miami on the 16th.  Any suggestions??? TIA

In Miami and Ft. Lauderdale the airports are not that far from the port - we plan on using Uber as the hotel shuttles frequently charge per person to the port and it has to be on their schedule.  As you are arriving so late, You can stay near the airport (read hotel reviews carefully) and then Uber to the port when you choose the next day.

most of the hotels near the airport provide  a shuttle  to the hotel

some have shuttles to the port for  a fee

Embassy Suites, La Quinta, Hampton (airport locations) are a couple

Flying into MIA?  Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon is often suggested on this board. I would call the hotel to confirm that the shuttle will run at midnight.

Thank you everyone!!!  We located a hotel with free 24 hour shuttle from the airport.  And yes, there is a fee for the shuttle to the port but with 7 people and some littles, that will work for us.

What did you opt for (considering Hampton Blue Lagoon) and what will you do for transportation after your cruise?

 

We'll be traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids next May. We've done this for a PE cruise but POM is kinda new for us for hotels/transportation. We prefer a private booked shuttle not Uber for our group.

With seven people it would probably be less money to take an Uber because the shuttle charges per person or another option would be a van taxi. One price for all of you, not per person.
