Hi  We will be in Aruba on Wednesday Oct. 4.  We do not leave the port until 10 pm  I was wondering if there are any good places to eat near the port.  We are sailing on Carnival.  Thanks

Right across the street from the port.

Iguana Joe's one of the best restaurants in the port area. It's a big pink building restaurant is upstairs can't miss it.

Great view of the whole area. Crew favorite great food great drinks. The place will be packed I have dinner here every time I'm on the island.

Google Iguana Joe's Aruba and check out they're menu. Best drinks and best food close to the port. You'll go back.

Have fun.

Eetcafe at the Paddock Just to your left out of the cruise port. try the Dutch platter.

Also The Old Fisherman on Havenstraat, which is just past the Royal Mall, a block down and a block up from IJ, has great seafood.

Iguana Joe's (AGAIN🙄) with EVERYBODY ELSE. Best authentic REAL nachos I've eaten in years.

Bloody Marys ROCK. Mojito's are as good as they are on the ship. Fresh everything. Pretty people, nice too!!

One of the best vibes on the island.

Not familiar with it.  Name sounds like one of those Argentina/ Brazilian type steakhouses.  Longer walk than LG's but probably a short taxi ride.

El Gauchos is an Argentian steakhouse. It is located downtown,  but pretty far to walk from the cruise port.  It is definitely not upscale, like LG Smith's. We haven't dined there in years.

Barefoot restaurant is a short taxi ride down the street. They have beach side dining and we enjoyed our meal there in May.

Are prices in US dollars? Is it better to sit on the deck or on the beach?
