Japan to Alaska

Looking for people who have done the Japan to Whittier cruise.  How are the Japanese ports ?  How is the crossing and did you add on the cruise to Vancouver ?

What specific itinerary from Japan are you looking at? We’re currently on the Diamond going around Japan and we can’t find any itinerary that goes from Japan to anywhere on the US west coast including Alaska.

My sister did it on Holland America….to Seattle.  She loved it.  She picked up the ship in Yokohama with maybe one or two more ports in Japan.  You got to love sea days.

Looks like the Royal is doing a 15-nt Yokohama-Whittier or 22-nt Yokohama-Vancouver departing 27 Apr 2024.
