Love Kurt Vonnegut. One of my favorite stories is Harrison Bergeron. It's probably been banned for reasons that would be obvious.

I never heard of that story by Kurt Vonnegut, but I found it in its entirety online.

The gist of it (and sorry to go off-topic here) is that in a dystopian America, everyone has to be equal so anyone excelling in beauty or intelligence has to be hamstrung/handicapped so they don't stand out.

Please elaborate. I’ve never cruised with Princess, but I have considered it.

I won't go into all the details since this is an NCL board, not Princess.

Check out that board for many comments.

PCL issues an active RF medallion that links to their app on your cell phone. It is advertised to do great things, but falls short.

If the OP doesn't have a smart phone, his medallion wouldn't work, and he would have a hard time even boarding the ship.

Again, check any PCL review. Some people like it some don't.

We have had 3 Princess cruises, Baltic for our 30th anniversary (IMHO our very best cruise), Alaska through the inner passage, and British Isles on a wonderful small ship that they no longer have. They were all wonderful, but they were all pre-medallion. And I want nothing to do with the medallion.
