Cruzinram Posted July 29, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Does Princess charge the corkage fee when wine is brought onboard or when it is opened in dining room or lounge. I know if consumed tin cabin no fee is charged.
SargassoPirate Posted July 29, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2023 It's been my experience that there's no fee charged when you bring it on board. I've even resupplied on port days without a problem. While not totally correct, one can snag a wine glass somewhere, fill it from your cabin supply, and walk around the ship or enjoy a music venue while you sip it. I can't advocate it. I've just heard that people do it.😉😉
skynight Posted July 29, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2023 The way it is supposed to work. Your corkage free one 750ml bottle per person is for use in your cabin. If brought to a DR or other public area the corkage is charged. Additional bottles are charged a corkage on boarding and the bottle is marked with a sticker. These bottles can be used anywhere on the ship. It doesn't always work this way.

We usually find the largest glass around & fill it to the brim. 😅 1
