Embassy Suites

Has anyone recently stayed at Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale?  Hyatt South or Riverside?  Thanks.

Recent reviews of Embassy haven't been very good...it's still old and tired looking.

Embassy Suites could use a refreshing and I have been stating that for years. I would definitely check on availability at the Riverside Hotel. A beautiful place on Las Olas Boulevard near one of my favorite places, Louie Bossi's Italian Restaurant.

Love Riverside…love eating at their Boathouse Restaurant right on the New River. Booked there again for my cruise in November. 

Great place if you are tired of cookie cutter chain hotels.

About two years ago we did embassy suites, terrible stay , terrible staff , we used to love this hotel

We also stayed there many times pre-cruise but in the last few years we've opted for Hyatt Place.

We did Hilton Marina last couple of times , love waking up and seeing our ship from our balcony.

We stay at the nearby Hyatt Place.  Our friend who works in the area advised us not to try Embassy Suites as they have not been keeping the place up.

"Not been keeping the place up"... this is certainly not new information. This has been going on for several years. It's obvious Hilton has no concern for this property any longer.
