Yacht club Drugs WEED (Skunk) 🌳

Tuesday night 11:30pm

Weed (Skunk) coming through AC vents into cabin, very strong and pronounced (Fresh)

 

Reported to night shift at. YC desk,

Temp Concierge staff called Engine room.

Technician arrived within 5 minutes, they confirmed WEED smell in the hallway outside our cabin and once in room also confirmed WEED coming through AC vents 

Deck 18

 

Technician said he had to confirm it was drugs (WEED) and not anything else.

Probably for safety that is not a fire or something else burning 🔥 

Which we totally understand 

 

We will await to see if anyone today mentions it to us or has an explanation 

I’m not expecting the world to become a better place overnight ☮️ or looking for a free cruise.

And is illegal 

 

Maybe MSC need to do what Carnival are doing and have the K9 drug dogs onboard 🐶 💊 

Carnival PAX are coming to MSC YC to avoid getting busted on Carnival

 

Will update if we get approached from anyone and informed of if they were able to locate where the source of the WEED was coming from .

Maybe the YC Director or a senior staff member will have a chat with us 😉

Would be nice after 3 days to meet them 🤣

 

We slept much better last night as well and have awoke chill and mellow 🌳

The AC is currently pumping out normal air 👍🏻

Was the WEED (skunk) coming from INSIDE YOUR CABIN???? Was there perhaps a WEED (SKUNK) gnome in there? Please check under the bed and in the closets.

 

When I last sailed Mera we had one in the mini bar behind the Pringles. They are sneaky because they are high on WEED (SKUNK)

All joking apart, it’s not a good sign for MSC and YC, in fact it’s pretty poor.

 

Look how carnival have had to spend money on dogs and staff to live on their ships to combat the issue 

 

I’m sure MSC won’t want to have to do the same as carnival

I have had the pleasure of knowing people that like to indulge and in the 🇺🇸 for some reason they like the smelly SKUNK weed 🌳

You need to watch YouTube and see the cruise bloggers who have videos of the dogs living on the ships 

Its out there for all to see

MSC might want to address this, especially after 2 people were detained in Miami with cocaine in their possession just very recently.  Some ports of call are very strict with drugs.

My commute takes us right by a weed store.  It's guaranteed skunk city in the afternoon.  Even some mornings (before 7am), there's the weed smell.

 

BTW, in US some states have legalized weed for either medical or recreational use, or for both.  At the federal level marijuana is still classified as illegal substance.

Nobody has even spoke to us about last nights events yet 

And TBH I doubt anyone will say anything, plenty of carpet on this ship😉

 

We did all we could do by reporting it and MSC engineering staff confirming. 

 

MSC don’t read cc posts, if they did they would need a whole team to work the forums
