While your pass might get you in, in a private vehicle, it may not get the commercial vehicle into the park. You can read all about CUA's on the NPS's website here: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/cua/index.htm I'm with @mapleleaves though. Pay the fee and support the park. And, thank you for visiting your public lands (says someone who used to live and work in Yellowstone). I'm also a proud card carrying America the Beautiful Annual pass holder. 🙂 Thank you. I use to operate an eco tourism company in a national park in Canada and live within the boundaries of the park as well. As you said just pay the fee and support the park/forest. 1
tw0sugar5 Posted September 28, 2023 #27 Share Posted September 28, 2023 I went to Mendenhall glacier on a gorgeous, clear sunny morning earlier this month. Shout out to tour bus driver Carlos. You’re 👍
Rare skittl1321 Posted September 29, 2023 #28 Share Posted September 29, 2023 NCL changed my Mendenhall Glacier and Gardens tour so that it no longer goes to the Glacier, but instead does the Mt Robert's tram. They refunded 50% of the cost. So I think they have run out of permits for late season (I go next week).
