That subject came up in our roll call. As I manage the spreadsheet id be more than happy to add another column but I don't know what / how / when etc they are. Can anyone here shed some light on it?

I did so n etching from 2010 but that just prompted another question: the casino provides the swag in slot pulls & timing is coordinated through them. Is this done with or without bar involvement (other than bartender making drinks)Screenshot_20230809-185108_Chrome.thumb.jpg.a8e69f5f3ffc8307cae5d5b1123f1111.jpg

in my experience they happen if someone in your rollcall decides to coordinate them & then you add to the spreadsheet, unless, of course, you want to coordinate any or all of them...

I only know about cabin crawls where someone recruits people who are willing to have the group come to their cabin hopefully getting as many cabin types as possible...then sets up a schedule & a place to start...

for the bar crawl, bars are public places you could probably just show up, but if it will be a big group it might be nice to warn them, maybe whoever is doing your meet & greet could ask their contact how that would work?

rubber ducks seem more like an individual thing to me so I am not sure how that would work, although on our last cruise I had a couple of people listed as bringing ducks

Maybe it's me. Cabins pretty much look the same. Not much to really see.

Slot pulls work with a sign up. Each person donates a fixed amount of cash. Let's say you are going to use a $1 slot with a $5 max. Then maybe each person would provide $20/$25. Every player would bet the max and get 4 or 5 pulls. Once everyone has played the slot is cashed out and the payout is split equally between the players. If you happen to hit a large payout you don't keep it. It goes into the pool for all those that participated. On the pulls I have participated in the coordinator pre-determines a day and time which would be a sea day when the casino is open during the day. Once on board he/she then contacts the casino manager once to reserve the time on a selected machine.

Always up for a slot pull. Also up for a pub crawl with a poker run combined. Last time I did a pub crawl/poker run we all gathered outside the last pub so the group organizer could have a (private) look at each person's hand to that point. That way she knew which hands to watch in the final bar. I didn't win but, after the crawl, the organizer told me that, up until that final card, I had the high hand. The other guy just managed to get the exact card to fill out his hand and beat me. D'Oh! So close. With slot pulls, when all the money has been tallied and apportioned, I have won a dollar once and lost a dollar twice.
