CBD TO WHITE BAY CRUISE TERMINAL SYDNEY

Recommended Posts

Looking for public transport to White Bay

Bus goes from QVB to Balmain but not sure if pedestrian access via Robert or Grafton St

Dont want to uber or taxi

Does anyone know the following

1) if Holland America has a shuttle from CBD to terminal ?

2) is there a ferry from Circular Quay to White Bay ?

3) is there pedestrian access from Balmain area ?

Looking at Google Maps it appears that pedestrian access starts at the intersection of Robert St and Buchanan St. A long walk from the nearest bus stops.

There is no ferry service at present.

I doubt that Holland America would offer a shuttle service.

Realistically taxi or Uber is the best way to get there.

The bus from QVB stops at

Robert St at Crescent St

Stop ID: 203933

From there it is a 15min flat walk (1.3 Klm). As long as you don't mind walking and don't have too much luggage it is very doable.  Done it myself  a few times. I'm in my late 60s and find it easy to do.

Yes also have done a few times for P&O cruises . The $2:50 bus fare makes the walk easy knowing you have another $50 still in your pocket.

thanks everyone , dont mind the walk

find it difficult to justify a $50 taxi fare when I have travelled from Gosford for $2.50

quay is so much easier

True. Money is important. A last go, cab from Central to White Bay was under $40, which for us is halved to $20 each.
