What does a possible joint Crown and Anchor and Captain's Club look like?

I have seen the recent thread about the possibility of Blue Chip Club merging with Royal's Casino program.

In addition to that, there have been some comments from people on Royal Caribbean ships recently who have heard that a merging of loyalty programs is at least being discussed.

It appears as though the possibility of Captain's Club and Crown & Anchor merging seems more probable now than in the recent past.

My question is how do we think that new program would look? All the levels are the same relative to the respective point structures. The specific benefits for each level and how one gains points are different between Royal and Celebrity. How would they create a hybrid program?

They won't combine programs. Anything said on ships is meaningless.  All change comes from HQ. Why would they. And their  crappy IT could never figure it out. It would be a hassle for both them and for us. hey would have to recalculate points to create a hybrid program as each program calculates points differently. If they did though we certainly will have less benefits. Everything both lines do is cut, cut, cut.

So how do you make sure that Celebrity knows your RCCL status or visa versa?

It seems as thought they already do...as a Diamond on Royal I was deemed an Elite automatically on Celebrity...so there already is some joint intel in place.

They use the same IT. My online user name and password are the same for Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. They are both brands of the Royal Caribbean Group.

From what I have heard, Blue Chip and Casino Royale are not merging.  What they are doing is consolidating the departments and IT to the same group.  I believe they are already attempting to do that with other things like making both companies websites look and feel the same.

To verify if you want call the CC at 1-800-760-0654 or the CAS at 1-800-526-9723 or log into your Celebrity or RC online account. Click on the round circle with your initials in it. From the drop down select "profile". Then click on "my loyalty".  Your CC and CAS numbers will show.
