dexddd Posted September 6, 2023 #127 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Interesting docking. Watched NCL and others over the years and they normally go farther out in basin and do a more gradual turn then side dock last minute.

Rare Mycykfamilytime Posted September 6, 2023 Author #133 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Just now, Essiesmom said: They do t put enough sauce on the eggs… It was fine for me this morning because I am seriously struggling with all the consuming I’ve been doing! But I’d agree if I was really hungry! I’ll ask for extra sauce on the side next time.

We love St. Catherine’s beach the most (by the St Regis Hotel) but they’re all wonderful in Bermuda. Enjoy! Rare Mycykfamilytime Posted September 6, 2023 Author #141 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Deep couch sitting. Getting in some quality book time. Reading hotel Nantucket, I like the occasional chick lit as the break from my usual British mysteries. I read a lot of international news so when I read for fun I’m not very sophisticated. Send me your drink suggestions!!! I’m not a huge drinker normally but I’m trying to do my part this cruise. For cocktails, I tend to like tart and fruity but necessarily super sweet. I like gin… That being said as long as it doesn’t have bourbon, I’m down for trying it.

Ahh shoot we debated walking over there to look for Seaglass but we were scared off by the St Regis and whether we should try to catch the 2:00 ferry back.

Next time! 😀. Also, don’t be scared off by the hotel being there. The beach is public right next to the hotel section of the beach (same beach slightly to the left of the hotel). There was only one other person there with us when we went in July. And we didn’t have to pay $1,000 per night to enjoy it! Yes, there is sea glass on that beach too but be careful taking it; I believe they may confiscate it from you at security. You can also buy Bermuda sea glass crafts at the Dockyard Craft Market if you want to take some home. Rare Mycykfamilytime Posted September 6, 2023 Author #144 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Apparently, there’s a beach club on the opposite side of the Fort that all the cruise staff go to to party. Might be a fun time for anyone who can stay up later than me. AND there’s a big street festival in Hamilton. I need to take a nap!
Rare Mycykfamilytime Posted September 6, 2023 Author #145 Share Posted September 6, 2023 (edited) Bon Voyage, Mariner! Ive always thought Mariner seems like a nice boat. All the fun things, but not quite as big as the Oasis Class. I’ve never sailed her though. Edited September 6, 2023 by Mycykfamilytime

Rare Mycykfamilytime Posted September 6, 2023 Author #148 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Pre sunset, post shower, pre dinner balcony chill. Audiobook: “The Summer I Turned Pretty”. mnpurple Posted September 6, 2023 #149 Share Posted September 6, 2023 My kids enjoy having a "shower beer". You are much more classy with the shower-tini! I'll have to remember that for my next cruise. On our last sailing I had the Tiramisu and mentioned to our waiter I like when they are made using rum, so he got me a huge shot of rum to pour over it! It wasn't quite the same, but gave us a laugh, especially when he brought some rum with my husbands order a few nights later.
